The SMU Men's Golf program has a storied history of success,
highlighted by 23 appearances in the NCAA
Championship and an NCAA National Title earned in 1954. The team has also secured 10 conference tournament championships and
produced 22 All-American golfers, 15 individual conference champions throughout its
history, and 1 individual NCAA champion.
The Mustang Excellence Fund for Men's Golf is vital in maintaining this success. Many of the team's achievements are due to the support of Mustang fans and alumni, whose generosity provides resources for Men's golf student-athletes to excel. This year, Men’s Golf has identified a key need to continue to take their program to the next level: enhancing the annual operating budget to purchase a GCQuad. This cutting-edge technology will enable the team to travel efficiently while properly developing and retaining top-level student-athletes.
