Despite its small numbers, this award-winning Alpha Phi Alpha chapter at the state and regional level accomplishes a multitude of things and impacts not only the SMU community, but the greater Dallas community as well. With signature programs such as the Miss Black and Old Gold Scholarship Pageant and Alpha Freshman Leadership Academy for male first-year students from minority populations, along with their monthly service in the Dallas community, and events to raise support for financial contributions to March of Dimes, the Alphas do it all!
